Truc Bac finally has a bia hoi. The island, popular with ex-pats and famous for Pho Cuon has been without Vietnams' finest beer but Bia Ha Noi have just moved in.
The good thing is it's situated overlooking the lake near the east entrance but unfortunately they haven't cleaned the lake up yet. Perhaps best in the afternoon as the lights are very bright in the evening
Food and Drink
Specialising in Lau, this is possibly one of the cleanest Bia Hoi's in town and they have an open air kitchen in the Hoi itself. We didn't try any food but what came out looked good
Other
Truc Bac island used to have an old boy selling bia hoi with a single barrel and a couple of tables but he moved on years ago when Pho Cuon took over the island.
